Knitwear Trend - Autumn/Winter 2022 (Fashion for Breakfast)

Today we are focusing on the knitwear that we will be donning through the Autumn/Winter season 22-23. In this vast world full of many versatile and feminine models, we will look at some of the pieces that will keep us warm during the winter.

The knitwear of A/W 22-23 includes a particularly feminine cardigan model, embellished with vintage style elements. This is the Fur Details Crop Top: a cropped cardigan, featuring faux-fur cuffs and collar that give the piece a retro and carefree touch. The short-sleeve models also keep you warm with very cosy mohair, while the versions with the schiffer neckline reveal the shoulders in a sensual yet subtle way.

The Balaclava trend made its debut in the fashion world a few seasons ago and is now ready to shift from the universe of accessories to knitwear. The Balaclava sweater combines these two elements, creating a piece that resembles a new set model: the balaclava is attached to the collar like a hood and matches the colour or yarn of the sweater, the whole piece distinguished by over size and enveloping volumes.

One of the stars of the Autumn/Winter season 22-23 is undoubtedly the knit set, which now, in comparison to past seasons, is embellished with a new part. It is composed of three pieces, all conveying an immediate impression of softness and comfort and that take us through the whole day for a minimal look, but also at home when we are relaxing. There are palazzo trousers or leggings matched with bralettes and tops gathered with ties, with the outfit completed with long flowing and enveloping cardigans.

Last we have the warmest piece of the A/W 22-23 season: we are talking about the Nordic maxi cardigan, a must-have in our wardrobe for the coldest days. This is a knit coat distinguished by typical Nordic jacquard patterns that recall the mountains and winter holidays. Large and heavy, it can be worn tied with a belt at the waist or left open for a more casual look.
